Best Seller for the Publisher

The first list. I like lists, especially being on top of a list. Not that this is a familiar feeling, but it sure is a good one. This is not the top ten list of bestsellers from the New York Times, or Australian non-fiction titles, but it IS the current top ten list from my publisher, UNSW Press. Which makes me a happy chappy. (Click on the image on the left to enlarge, and see what the fuss is about).

    Hi Julian,
Found this before your email, and I imagine you monitor it. Congrats on the books, and Happy Xmas. Cannot remember my Zoology URL, this is my email with the @ removed!

Sad news is that Charles Birch passed away on the weekend.
There will be a memorial service in jan, and I would like to find out about it and go.
So if you discover where and when, let me know.
Also, perhaps let others know - David Mowbray?
    Cheers, Rob

    Hi Julian,

I was in the car yesterday so I turned the radio on. Heard the subject matter and your voice and told my wife that it was you. She didn't believe me until your name popped up in the interview a few minutes later.

You sounded great, it even kept my wife's attention (that's QUITE the compliment, she hates listening to me talk about fish!).

I'll be getting your book and I'll keep checking out your blog.

    Take care

Chris (your next door neighbour from Willarong Rd)
